    • Feed the Future Nepal: Nutrition Innovation Lab - Policy and Science for Health, Agriculture and Nutrition (PoSHAN) Study

    In 2012, the Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Nutrition initiated a program of research in Nepal called the PoSHAN surveys. Funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the PoSHAN surveys were designed and implemented as an annual assessment of community, household, individual conditions. The aim was to determine a) the links among agriculture, nutrition, health, and b) how exposure to a range of policy and program interventions may influence household food security, poverty, and the diets, health and nutrition of young children and their mothers. The datasets uploaded here consists of four national surveys collected from 2013-2016 in Nepal and additional seasonal surveys.
