    • Examining Nutrition Impacts of Horticultural Innovations in Southern Bangladesh

    This asset contains raw data showing land use analysis from cold room and chimney dryer technologies in southern Bangladesh, collected by UC Davis staff Amrita Mukherjee and Rezaul Islam.

    The objective of our project was to examine the effect of implementing new technologies (CoolBot cool rooms, solar dryers, floating gardens) on the income, consumption on the targeted households. For these we built 36 floating gardens, 3 chimney solar dryers and 3 CoolBot controlled cool rooms. The floating gardens were distributed among the 36 households, 3 chimney dryers were distributed among 36 household (one chimney dryer/12 households), and 3 cool rooms among 36 households (one cool rooms/12 households).
