Eastward, northward, and upward current components, water temperature, conductivity, and others collected by current meters and CTD from sub surface mooring in the South Scotia Sea from 2017-03-21 to 2017-04-29 (NCEI Accession 0219939)

Metadata Updated: February 1, 2025

This dataset contains 3-D currents, water temperature, conductivity, and others from a single heavily instrumented sub surface mooring operated for the Dynamics of the Oakney Passage Outflow (DYNOPO) Program. Instrumentation consists of:

moored current meter estimates of east velocity, north velocity, vertical velocity and time; moored SBE-37 CTD data; moored SBE-39 temperature recorder data; moored RBR solo-T temperature recorder data.

Data are in NetCDF.
