This dataset includes discrete sample and profile data collected during the R/V Meteor cruise MT84/3 (EXPOCODE 06MT20110405) in the Adriatic Sea, Aegean Sea and Mediterranean Sea from 2011-04-05 to 2011-04-28. These data include dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity (TA), pH on total scale, water temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen concentration, nitrate, nitrite, phosphate, silicate, chlorofluorocarbon 12 (CFC-12), barium, delta carbon-13, sulfur hexafluoride (SF6), delta carbon-14, delta helium-3, helium, neon, tritium and potential temperature (theta). The instruments used to collect these data include alkalinity titrator, CTD, Niskin bottles, coulometer for DIC measurement and spectrophotometer. The International CLIVAR Global Ocean Carbon and Repeat Hydrography Program carries out a systematic and global re-occupation of select WOCE/JGOFS hydrographic sections to quantify changes in storage and transport of heat, fresh water, carbon dioxide (CO2), and related parameters.
