Dissolved inorganic carbon, alkalinity, salinity and SEA SURFACE TEMPERATURE collected from discrete sample and profile observations using Alkalinity titrator, CTD and other instruments from the ANTEA in the Gulf of Guinea, North Atlantic Ocean and South Atlantic Ocean from 2005-09-04 to 2005-09-26 (NCEI Accession 0108087)

Metadata Updated: March 1, 2025

This dataset includes chemical, discrete sample, physical and profile data collected from ANTEA in the Gulf of Guinea, North Atlantic Ocean and South Atlantic Ocean from 2005-09-04 to 2005-09-26 and retrieved during cruise 35A820050904. These data include ALKALINITY, DISSOLVED INORGANIC CARBON, SALINITY and SEA SURFACE TEMPERATURE. The instruments used to collect these data include Alkalinity titrator, CTD, Potentiometric titrator for dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC) measurement and bottle. These data were collected by Nathalie Lefèvre of Sorbonne University (SU) as part of the EGEE-2_Line dataset.

The International CLIVAR Global Ocean Carbon and Repeat Hydrography Program carries out a systematic and global re-occupation of select WOCE/JGOFS hydrographic sections to quantify changes in storage and transport of heat, fresh water, carbon dioxide (CO2), and related parameters.
