    This collection includes global ocean temperature, salinity, and nutrient profile measurements taken by shipboard observers or automated instruments and received from the Global Telecommunication System (GTS) of the WMO World Weather Watch in support of the Global Temperature and Salinity Profile Programme (GTSPP) from 1990-01-14 to 2013-01-02. The documented GTSPP quality assessment and duplicates removal procedures were then applied. This collection may include data from Argo floats, Ship of Opportunity Programme (SOOP) XBT networks, moored buoys, and other platforms. These data were collected by and processed by various organizations world-wide.
