The water depth and temperature data was collected as part of Global Temperature- Salinity Pilot Project (GTSPP) from HMAS Cook by the Australian Oceanographic Data Center, Potts point, New South Wales, Australia. The data was collected from January 20, 1987 to November 9, 1987. The originator's bathythermograph (XBT) data was submitted by Mr. Andrew L. Walsh in GTSPP format via FTP.
