    Temperature profiles were collected from XBT casts from the HMAS MELBOURNE and other vessels in the Indian Ocean from 01 January 1991 to 31 December 2001. Data were collected by the Royal Australian Navy and submitted by the Australian Oceanographic Data Centre in support of World Ocean Circulation Experiment (WOCE) and the Global Temperature-Salinity Pilot Project (GTSPP).
