Published by OpenTopography | OpenTopography | Catalog Last Checked: August 01, 2026 at 03:00 AM | Dataset Last Updated: July 01, 2022
This high-resolution topography dataset of the southernmost San Andreas Fault (sSAF) includes a point cloud, digital surface model (DSM) and orthomosaic that cover an area of approximately 717,000 square meters along the main strand of the sSAF at Ferrum, near the northeastern shoreline of the modern-day Salton Sea. The purpose of this dataset was to provide high-resolution imagery to examine tectonically offset geomorphic features to gather estimates for slip distribution for a study conducted along ~80 km of the sSAF
