Region 1 Engineered Controls Polygons
Resource Conservation and Recovery Act engineered controls (ECs) are physical, technical measures designed to reduce or prevent human exposure to hazardous waste contamination by limiting direct contact with contaminated areas or controlling the migration of contaminants through environmental media. This data set contains polygon features of certain engineered controls on RCRA sites in EPA Region 1. Locations are accurate as of 4/15/2020 and should have corresponding information in RCRAInfo.
