NSF STEM Positions
Executive and managerial positions have the primary responsibility of leading and managing the NSF workforce. These executive and managerial positions may include Directorate Heads, Office Heads, Deputy Directorate Heads, Deputy Office Heads, and similar positions.
Features -
Senior Executive Service (SES) appointments may be on a career or limited term (3 years maximum) basis.
Open competition and OPM certification of executive qualifications are required for new Career appointments.
