GLADE Project: Well Log Files for GLADE East and GLADE West wells
Files include Well Log information and raw data files for both GLADE East and GLADE West geothermal wells in the DJ Basin, Colorado. Data can be viewed with a PDF file viewer or log viewer capable of reading .LAS files. Log types included are Cement Bond Logs (CBL's), Mud Logs, a Temperature & Pressure Log, and Wireline Logs from both wells.
The Geothermal Limitless Approach to Drilling Efficiencies (GLADE) project was undertaken in the DJ Basin, Colorado to evaluate whether advanced oil and gas drilling practices could be adapted to improve geothermal well construction in deep, hot, hard-rock environments. Funded by the U.S. Department of Energy Geothermal Technologies Office and executed by Oxy, the project focused on drilling two deep wells, GLADE West and GLADE East, through the sedimentary section and into Precambrian granitic basement.
