• Final critical habitat for Monterey spineflower (Chorizanthe pungens var. pungens)

    These data identify the areas where the USFWS has designated critical habitat proposed for Monterey spineflower. Critical habitat for the species consists of approximately 11,000 acres, in 9 units. The units occur from the vicinity of Soledad in Monterey County northward to the vicinity of Aptos in southern Santa Cruz county.
