• Coastal Mapping Program Project FL1305: CEDAR KEY TO CLEARWATER, FL.

    Updated: Sep 13, 2013

The objective of the Coastal Mapping Program is to provide surveying and mapping information of our nation's coastline. This shoreline mapping effort also supports the National Spatial Reference System - the framework for latitude, longitude, height, scale, gravity, orientation, and shoreline throughout the United States. This data is primarily used to support the production of the NOAA Office of Coast Survey's Electronic Navigational Charts (ENC), raster, and paper nautical charts.
